ADULT DAY SERVICES

Adult Day Services (ADS) provides participants the opportunity to socialize, enjoy peer support, receive mental and social services in a stimulating and supportive environment, promoting better physical and mental health.
    Adult Day Services assists functionally impaired adults maintain their independence. For some, ADS can improve their capabilities; for others it is a way of slowing down the deterioration  process, thereby preventing or delaying the need for nursing home admission.

Basic Services

  1. Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 9:00 - 3:30 P.M.
  2. Transportation - determined on an individual basis.
  3. Individualized plan of care.
  4. Nursing and medication supervision
  5. Health monitoring and assessment
  6. Nutritionally balanced snacks and noon meals
  7. Leisure activities, wellness/exercise programs
  8. Education/Stimulating programs
  9. Support for family members

Special Services - Available at an additional charge

  1. Speech, Physical and Occupational Therapy
    (available through physician referral)
  2. Beauty/Barber Salon
  3. Bathing
  4. Special Nursing Services

Fees and Billing Arrangements]

    Charges for each participant are computed at $40.00 per day and billed monthly. The Adult Day Services Director can determine specific costs based on the individual needs. In addition to private pay, financial assistance is available. The Adult Day Services Director can assist you in determining what forms of coverage may be available.
